Singers in Disguise Country Debut! Canada- Ontario - Thunder bay
I love traveling to perform!
And last week I had the pleasure of doing just that! When I was flown to perform as a "Singing Maitre D" in my Singing Waiter's act for a lovely young lady from Thunder Bay in Ontario , Canada.
It was funny because my Bride's groom was from London and when she phoned me in California to book us, she was very surprised to hear she was speaking to a London girl in California!
From Opera to Abba in one act! And yes- everyone was up dancing!
It was great to perform for such a mix of people. I have never sung for a Canadian audience before and what a lovely and warm bunch they were. But it was wonderful to sing to the 25 Londoner's who flew to Ontario for the wedding!
I started as a 'French' Maitre D with a full blown french accent, one of the many I can do. Then when I told everyone who I really was at the end of the act in the 'Confession's' part and suddenly the French accent was gone and replaced with my British one , people were surprised.

I did enjoy catching up with some of the British guests after, explaining that I'm a North London girl who is lucky enough to live in beautiful Southern California, although I do miss London and my friends there, which is why I frequently return to the UK to perform.

Fabulous show at Blake Hall in Ongar in Essex last Saturday. Yes - i flew over from SoCal especially to sing in this show. We had 2 new song debuts in it ...Never Enough from the Greatest Showman and Barcelona by Freddie Mercury. The audience loved the show!! We Love performing our Singing Police act ! We arrest one of the guests before launching into a fabulous musical act! And often as not - its the best man that the Bride chooses for us to arrest! On August 21st 2021 it gave me great pleasure to fly over to the UK having not been there for 18 months due to Covid and perform my Singers in Disguise act with Stuart Boother . Although it rained ( ! ) nothing stopped this Bride and Groom and their guests from having a wonderful time and so did I ! i've missed singing for totally fabulous English audiences! The Bride found us by searching Singing Waiters London and Singing Police Oxford as well as Unique Wedding Entertainment UK.
Katrina was delighted to perform with John Polhamus for a fabulous show in Jumal San Diego for a wonderful Wedding . We played a Singing Chef and Singing Planted Guest in our Singers in Disguise act. The Bride found us by searching Singing Waiters San Diego. John and I met 24 years ago in the UK when we were both in the UK tour of The Phantom of the Opera . Was great for us to sing that duet together in San Diego all these years later.
